This song was originally written while Brian was still performing with Waves of Rust, but it didn't really fit the sound that band had, so it was never performed live or recorded until Brian started playing with the Seattle Folk band Cooper Point Rd.  The first performance of this was by Brian solo after an early Cooper Point Rd performance at a private party/festival in Gig Harbor. It has gone on to be a setlist regular with Cooper Point Rd and appears on their self-titled first release as a fully instrumented folk song with Brian playing both guitar and button accordion parts.  You can find that on Bandcamp at cooperpointrd.bandcamp.com.
This version is a stripped down version much like that first performance in Gig Harbor (but for those who were there and suffered through it we promise this is better executed!).   
In the end this is a deeply personal song about Brian's favorite way to spend time, and it says a lot about the quality of his character. Ironically, on the day the song was written Brian was kinda busy.
